I am Emeka Nnamdi, a cybersecurity professional, software engineer, and technology founder based in Calgary, Alberta. I build secure technology that solves real business problems, with privacy and security at the centre.
I am a privacy and information security professional with more than six years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance. My work has centred on Privacy Impact Assessments, Privacy by Design, and aligning enterprise systems with frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, COBIT 2019, GDPR, PIPEDA, FOIP, and PHIPA.
I hold a Master of Information Security and Privacy from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Computer Science from ESUT. Alongside consulting, I build software and lead technology ventures, so I can translate complex technical risk into systems, and decisions, that organizations can trust. What I enjoy most is turning a hard, sensitive problem into something a client can rely on.
