I am Emeka Nnamdi, a cybersecurity and privacy professional, software engineer, and technology founder in Calgary, Alberta. With a Master of Information Security and Privacy and industry certifications, security is my discipline, not just a mindset. I build technology that earns trust by design.
I am a privacy and information security professional with more than six years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance. My work has centred on Privacy Impact Assessments, Privacy by Design, and aligning enterprise systems with frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, COBIT 2019, GDPR, PIPEDA, FOIP, and PHIPA.
I hold a Master of Information Security and Privacy from the University of Calgary, where I have also served as a Teaching Assistant, and a Bachelor of Computer Science from ESUT. Alongside consulting, I build software and lead technology ventures, so I can translate complex technical risk into systems, and decisions, that organizations can trust. What I enjoy most is turning a hard, sensitive problem into something a client can rely on.
